Floor Sawing

Used to quickly cut floors to a depth of 375mm. Mostly used to form openings and chases and isolations in a wide variety of materials. Greater depths can be achieved with adaptations to our standard road saws. Small floor saws allow access in confined areas where our large saws require ‘Elbow’ room but do cut more quickly.

Specialist small saws even allow flush cutting against walls and obstructions where the only alternative track sawing would not be cost effective. Our CC6500 range of saws will cut to within 80mm of a wall or obstructions.

As with all diamond drilling and cutting, water is required to cool the diamond blade. We can utilise a variety of techniques to protect the working environment and finishes. Unlike diamond drilling where the water flow is very low with floor sawing the water flow is very high.
